Speck’s Fitted ArtsProjekt Now Available for iPod touch
Oh, the plight of the poor old iPod Touch. Lately, it has been completely overshadowed by the iPhone 4 and iPad. Fortunately, Speck has heard its cries and come out with two new Fitted Artsprojekt cases. These cases, which have been designed by some of the world’s most progressive artists and members of Artsprojekt are printed on soft fabric and then are fitted onto Speck’s hard-shell protective cases. The two new cases feature designs by Jared Nickerson, who created the “Mother Nature” motif. The second case features artwork from J. David McKenney. Both cases will be available for $3.95 and are exclusive to Apple retail stores.

Behold the $165K 24kt Gold iPad from Stuart Hughes
If you thought the iPad was expensive, you have a thing coming for you. The new iPad SUPREME FIRE Edition from Stuart Hughes weighs 2.5 kilograms and is made of 24kt solid gold. For about $165,000 (or £109,995 GBP) you’ll be getting the top of the line 3G 64GB iPad too. After all, they can’t be stingy at that price, can they?
Home Sweet Home
We’ve all done it – count the minutes, miles and blocks before reaching home. Temporary respite from a long, hard day is one of the first things I look forward to as the sun goes down. Far From Home is a GPS enabled bracelet that gleefully (been dying to use that word) displays iconoglyphs denoting the distance to home. Oh and yea, it’s a watch too. Hey it glows! Mmm, pretty.

ASUS Eee PC 1005PX looks lovely in your choice of colors
Another pretty little seashell has washed up on the Eee PC shore, and ASUS is making this one official -- sort of. A listing for the 1005PX has appeared on the company's site, but it's sadly a broken link for the moment. No worries, as Notebook Italia has all the details about this little chromatic lappy, which is available in white, black, red, blue, and that pastel pink above that has us really craving a tall glass of strawberry milk. Beyond the clean aesthetics there's nothing particularly exciting here, your typical 1.6GHz Atom N450 CPU, 1 or 2GB of RAM, up to 320GB of storage, and a 10-inch matte 1024 x 600 LED-backlit LCD. Longevity is said to be a healthy 8.5 hours with a six-cell battery, though we don't know just how much this one will cost ya -- nor when ASUS will fix that link.
