If you thought the iPad was expensive, you have a thing coming for you. The new iPad SUPREME FIRE Edition from Stuart Hughes weighs 2.5 kilograms and is made of 24kt solid gold. For about $165,000 (or £109,995 GBP) you’ll be getting the top of the line 3G 64GB iPad too. After all, they can’t be stingy at that price, can they?

Behold the $165K 24kt Gold iPad from Stuart Hughes
Home Sweet Home
We’ve all done it – count the minutes, miles and blocks before reaching home. Temporary respite from a long, hard day is one of the first things I look forward to as the sun goes down. Far From Home is a GPS enabled bracelet that gleefully (been dying to use that word) displays iconoglyphs denoting the distance to home. Oh and yea, it’s a watch too. Hey it glows! Mmm, pretty.

ASUS Eee PC 1005PX looks lovely in your choice of colors
Another pretty little seashell has washed up on the Eee PC shore, and ASUS is making this one official -- sort of. A listing for the 1005PX has appeared on the company's site, but it's sadly a broken link for the moment. No worries, as Notebook Italia has all the details about this little chromatic lappy, which is available in white, black, red, blue, and that pastel pink above that has us really craving a tall glass of strawberry milk. Beyond the clean aesthetics there's nothing particularly exciting here, your typical 1.6GHz Atom N450 CPU, 1 or 2GB of RAM, up to 320GB of storage, and a 10-inch matte 1024 x 600 LED-backlit LCD. Longevity is said to be a healthy 8.5 hours with a six-cell battery, though we don't know just how much this one will cost ya -- nor when ASUS will fix that link.

Spindle Ball Alarms!
Some designers want you to stand up to wake up, others want you to stretch but Pedro Gomes wants you to play with the toy-like Sleepy Alarm Clock! Spin the spoodle and it allows you to sleep for a wee bit longer. Overall a cute design that will fit perfectly in the children’s room. What I dig the most is the fun, interactive way we can change the time by simply moving the ball back and forth.

The iPod Lamp that is Classy Enough to Put Next to the China
We have seen a few iPod lamps here and there but they have typically looked kind of cheesy and would probably fit better in a dorm or teens room. Well the simply named iPod Lamp from Hammacher Schlemmer looks more like a piece of furniture this time around and for the price of $199.95, it should be. It will support either a iPhone 3GS or higher or iPod, plays music through two 10-watt speakers, and has a AUX input to attach external music devices. The lamp itself has a linen lampshade and the stand is made from hardwood with brushed nickel adornments. Finally an iPod Lamp that demands respectability!
